Google Inc. has launched its own web browser known as ‘Google Chrome’. It does much of what a new browser must do today. Its appearance is sleek, groups the various pages into easily manageable tabs and offers the control to the users to control their Internet privacy settings.
One of the important points that will strike on everyone’s mind as which is the most effective web browser Google Chrome or Internet Explorer that has seventy five per cent share in the world market. Differences between Google Chrome and Internet Explorer

One of the critical differences between Google Chrome and Internet Explorer is that of speed. It is certainly faster than the Internet Explorer browser.

The tabs of the Google Chrome are placed at the top of the window. This significant feature is missing in the Internet Explorer web browser.

It is very much difficult to locate some of the commands in Google Chrome, which is rather easy to find in Internet Explorer. For example, it is really difficult to observe the page source of a web as compared to the Internet Explorer.

Google Chrome currently runs on a windows operating system as compared to the Internet Explorer that runs on any operating system.

It is rather difficult for the user to analyze the tabs that are causing certain problems in the Internet Explorer. On the other hand, the task of locating the problem creating tabs is extremely easy as the Google Chrome has the task manager, which allows the user to observe the amount of memory each tab is consuming and solve the problem by closing the tab that is creating the problems.

Sometimes, Internet Explorer browser stops functioning when the JavaScript engine gets hung up. On the other hand, the Google Chrome web browser does not stops functioning even if in case there is some problem in the JavaScript engine.

Google Chrome do not have menu bar and there is no way to add it. Instead of menu bar it consists of browser tabs for each web page that has been opened by the user. On the other hand, Internet Explorer has the menu bar, which is extremely simpler to use.
