Windows Live Messanger will not work after AVG 8.0 Install

Yesterday was last day AVG says it will not provide update on AVG 7.5 so I was forced to install the latest version.Every Thing go smooth

• I upgrade my old license and get a new license and a new install file from AVG website
• I un installed Old Software 7.5
• Unplug My LAN
• Restart My Machine
• Install AVG 8.0
• Every Thing was working OK but the Window Live messenger

Well I though This happens often and MSN/Live messanger servers may be down
Next Day It was still not working and I then I realize it must be something related to AVG 8.0 I installed

Looking around AVG I found they have a Instant Messaging Shield,I need to uncheck that to make my messager work.I am not sure what this protection do but there was no other settings in it other than uncheck.I did and it works like a charm.This who still need to do it can do this at

• Open AVG
• Goto Tools -> Advanced Settings-->Web Shield
• Click on the ‘+’
  
• Goto Instant Messaging, and uncheck the Window Live messanger Checkbox
  
• You Will be able to login Now
  

IIS Unxpected Error!

Boom!
This IIS unexpected error(Default Website Stopped) had make me so sad every time it happens...Normally what I have to do is remove IIS from Add Remove Programs-->Window Components and then install it again,The problem was I have to install PHP all over again on my IIS and waste half an hour...

But since 1 year(After I start using Skype) I notice it will not even solve doing this.
The problem is Skype will use port 80 which IIS also use
The Resolution:
Make Skype Don't use port 80,goto your Skype-->Tools-->Options-->Advanced-->Connection-->Uncheck the checkbox that say "Use Port 80 and..."
Save and shut down Skype and your ISS will work with Charm.You can restart skype then

Firefox Hangs on Save As - Right Click

Yesterday I noticed my Firefox 2.0 (2.0.0.14 to be exact) Right Click "Save Link As" Or Save Image as stopped working,The Firefox will hang and need to be close down using Window Task Manager
Restarting FF or my 4 year old Windows machine did not help!

A quick Google this morning bring so many results but no real solution.Some people suggested a long Download history can cause this but My Download history is always empty ( have a habit to keep my browser and desktop clean!!!)

Final Resolution:
I opened Firefox settings (To do this Type "about:config" without Quotes in your Firefox Mozilla browser) and Locate the settings "browser.download.lastDir")
in my case it was pointing to a machine on my small network which I later disconnect,so I guess Firefox was just trying to connect to that machine and hangs.To Fix I click on Edit and empty and wow Firefox Save as start working!
